- SteelMint’s assessment of domestic stainless steel scrap prices of 304 grade moved down by INR 4,000/t to INR 118,000/t ($1,428/t) ex-Delhi today compared to 11 Oct’22.
- Low domestic demand dragged down stainless steel scrap prices. The fall in international prices by around $1,350/t ex-Europe also weighed on domestic prices.
- However, demand for 316 grade scrap and finished stainless steel remains moderate in the domestic market.
