India: Over 8,000 t of sponge iron traded in Raipur, Chhattisgarh

SteelMint’s price assessment for sponge P-DRI (FeM 80%) fell by INR 200/t to INR 31,400/t exw-Raipur on 13 Oct’22. With a decline in offers, sponge suppliers received several orders.
4,100 t of FeM 80% P-DRI deals were recorded at INR 31,300-31,500/t exw and DAP basis, while 4,000 t of FeM 77-78% P-DRI was traded at INR 30,800-31,000/t DAP Raipur.
Few deals of DR-CLO grade sponge were concluded at INR 35,900-36,000/t exw-Raipur.
