A sponge iron producer has booked G5 ROM coal via linkage auction at around INR 8,300/t (including taxes) on 9 Feb, CoalMint learnt. This auction was a part of the ongoing sixth tranche of the linkage auction for sponge iron industry conducted by Central Coalfields Ltd from its Karma OCP mines. The notified price was set at INR 2,747/t.
