The Odisha Mining Corporation’s (OMC’s) chrome ore auction, held on 16 February, received a favourable response. Out of 53,500 t put on offer, approximately 33,800 t were booked. The high-grade material (52-54%) fetched a premium of 17-18% over the base price.
