SteelMint’s assessment for sponge iron, C-DRI (70% lumps & 30% fines), increased by INR 250/t to INR 30,600/t exw-Rourkela on 14 Dec’21. A total of 3,000 t of deals were confirmed at INR 30,500-30,800/t exw. Limited deals were heard today as buyers had placed sufficient orders yesterday, SteelMint notes.
