Steel billet prices in China’s Tangshan remained stable at RMB 4,330/t ($681/t) including 13% VAT on 14 Dec’21. According to data maintained with SteelMint, China’s rebar futures contract for May’22 delivery on the Shanghai Futures Exchange (SHFE) closed today at RMB 4,382/t ($689/t), a fall of RMB 33/t ($5/t), d-o-d.
