Sponge iron prices in Rourkela fell by INR 300/t on 16 Nov’21. SteelMint’s assessment for sponge iron, C-DRI (70% lumps and 30% fines), stands at INR 30,100/t exw.
3,300 t of deals were confirmed at INR 29,800-30,100/t exw-Rourkela. Demand remained moderate today, given the sluggish trends in steel billet prices which declined by INR 200-300/t, d-o-d.
