India: Sponge iron export prices drop by $12-15/t w-o-w on limited demand

India’s sponge iron export offers witnessed a significant drop this week.

• Nepal: Offers fell sharply by $12/t w-o-w to $323/t CPT Raxaul. Buying interest from Nepal remained weak, with deals of 2,500 t recorded.
• Bangladesh: Offers declined by $15/t to $331/t CPT Benapole. The correction in prices prompted a decline in buying activity, Around 1,000 t of deals were concluded for Bangladesh.
