India’s sponge iron export offers to both Nepal and Bangladesh remained unchanged w-o-w, assessed at $315/t CPT Raxaul and $325/t CPT Benapole, respectively. Amid stable prices, demand remained subdued, with exporters receiving no significant inquiries. Additionally, no trade activity with neighbouring countries was observed. Market participants attributed the continued silence to economic uncertainties and unfavourable global conditions, which have pressured finished steel demand.
