- Sponge iron (FeM 80%, lumps 100%) export prices to Bangladesh went down by $35-40/t to $530/t CPT Benapole, equivalent to $555-560/t CFR Chittagong, as per SteelMint’s weekly assessment. Deals of about 15,000 t were reported this week.
- Sponge iron demand remains supported on account of higher scrap and pig iron prices globally.
