- Sponge iron export demand softened as bulk bookings from Nepal and Bangladesh were absent since past few weeks.
- With no major export deals and fluctuating Indian domestic prices, SteelMint’s weekly export price assessment to Nepal remained stable at $430-435/t LTW from eastern India, equivalent to $450/t CPT Nepal.
- Prices to Bangladesh fell by $5/t, w-o-w and fresh offers were at $390/t CPT Benapole.
