India: South African RB2 coal traded at INR 10,000/t ex-Krishnapatnam

In a confirmed deal, 5,000 t of RB2 coal was sold at INR 10,000/t ex-Krishnapatnam today, while 10,000 t was sold at INR 9,600/t ex-Ennore. Portside prices remained higher at Vizag with 30,000 t being traded at INR 9,300/t. Depleting coal stocks and lower vessel arrivals at major Indian ports continue to keep portside RB2 prices higher, with a few traders also holding stocks in anticipation of a further rise in prices.
