India: South African RB2 coal sold at INR 21,500/t at Haldia Port

In a confirmed deal, one rake of South African RB2 (5500 kcal/kg NAR) grade coal was sold at INR 21,500/t at Haldia Port, while another 2,000 t of RB3 (4800 kcal/kg NAR) coal was sold at INR 18,000/t at Paradip Port. Sponge iron manufacturers continue to procure small parcels as they await further price correction before making bulk bookings, market participants informed.
