India: South African RB2 coal sold at INR 10,100/t at Gangavaram Port

In a confirmed deal, 8,000 t of South African RB2 coal was sold at INR 10,100/t at Gangavaram Port, while prices were assessed at INR 12,100/t at Haldia. Portside RB2 prices continue to trade in a tight range amid uncertainty and limited stock at ports. A total of 0.58 mn t of South African coal is set to arrive at Indian ports between 9-13 Dec’21, CoalMint data shows.
