Sponge P-DRI (FeM 80%) prices in Karnataka’s Bellary declined by INR 200/t on 30 Aug’21 due to lack of buying interest, SteelMint’s assessment shows.
Around 1,800 t of P-DRI deals were confirmed at INR 28,200/t against offers at INR 28,300-28,500/t exw. The supply of material was majorly for the Hindupur and Hyderabad markets including western India.
Meanwhile, offers for C-DRI stand at INR 29,800-30,000/t ($408) and around 500 t of deals were reported.
