Sri Kumaraswamy Mineral Exports Pvt Ltd’s (SKMEPL) auction for 8,000 t of iron ore fines (Fe54%) and 36,000 t of lumps (10-40 mm, Fe59.5-65.5%) from the Ramanadurga mines in Bellary on 3 Jan’23 failed to attract buyers. The entire material remained unsold. The floor prices for fines and lumps was set at INR 2,003/t and INR 3,700-5,800/t (including royalty, DMF and NMET), respectively.
