SKMEPL held an auction for 28,000 t of lumps and 8,000 t of fines (Fe 57.26%) from Ramanadurga mines in Karnataka on 21 Oct’24. In a lukewarm response, 4,000-t lumps (5-20 mm, Fe 61.31%) got booked at INR 6,020/t against the INR 6,000/t base price. 8,000-t lumps (10-40 mm, Fe 63-63.13%) were booked at the base price of INR 5,800/t. Prices are ex-mines , including royalty, DMF and NMET.
