Indian HC Silico Manganese Exports inched down from 794,754MT in CY17 to 791,099MT in CY18 which accounted for 0.46% downfall. Moreover, Exports in the month of December decreased by 2.81% from 62,150MT in Nov’18 to 60,404MT in Dec’18.
Exports were highest in the month of May in CY18. However, the exports were at lowest during Sept-Oct. Japan, UAE, Taiwan and Italy remained the top four countries to import Indian HC Silico Manganese with 13%, 10%, 8% and 7% shares in the total exports respectively. Japan decreased there imports of Indian HC Silico Manganese in Dec’18 by 8.10% M-o-M and significantly fell in CY 18 by 4.30% Y-o-Y. UAE increased their imports from India by a meaningful percentage of 13.55 M-o-M and 22.40 Y-o-Y. Taiwan and Italy on the contrary increased their imports from India in the month of Dec’18 by 28.35% and 66.14% respectively but the total imports in CY18 fell by 14.88% and 15.10% respectively.
Bangladesh showed a major growth in Indian imports by 30.55% in Dec’18 M-o-M and 33.64% in CY18 Y-o-Y. Thailand showed a perpetuated downfall in imports from India since Oct’18 to Dec’18. Imports of Thailand from India reduced by 36.58% M-o-M and 24.91% Y-o-Y.
