Coal India subsidiary South Eastern Coalfields Ltd. (SECL) has offered 200,000 t of coal to government-owned power plants via road-cum-rail (RCR) mode. The coal was surplus inventory at SECL’s mines which is available against immediate lifting to plants that are willing to transport it on their own. Of the total quantity, the Manikpur mine offered 150,000 t coal of G13 grade, while the remaining volume comprised G9 grade from the Saraipali mine.
