Aluminium majors Balco and Hindalco decreased prices of aluminium ingots by INR 2,750/t (36/t) and INR 2,500/t ($32/t) respectively and the effective prices are at INR 242,500/t ($3,140/t) and INR 240,250/t ($3,111/t) respectively. Nalco announced a major reduction of INR 16,000/t and the effective price stands at INR 239,900/t ($3,106/t) on 11 May’22. The LME aluminium cash price decreased by $31/t since yesterday’s closing.
