India: SAIL’s silico manganese auction receives good response

Govt. owned – Steel Authority of India Ltd (SAIL) conducted an auction for around 900 t silico manganese (0-3 & 3-10mm) on 08 Jan ’21 from its Chandrapur Ferro Alloy Plant, Maharashtra. Entire offered quantity was booked at INR 45,850/t (0-3mm) and at INR 55,750/t (3-10mm) exw. In the previous auction conducted 28 Dec’20 for 1,000 t was booked at the weighted average bid price at INR 45,500/t (for 0-3 mm) & INR 56,500/t (for 3-10mm), exw respectively
