Steel Authority of India Ltd (SAIL) had floated an auction for 10,000 t of plate cuttings (12-50mm) yesterday from Rourkela Steel Plant in Odisha. According to latest updates, the company’s management had set the bid price at INR 38,930/t exw, but the auction failed to fetch any response and closed without any results.
