India: JSPL’s steel sales down 9%, m-o-m, in Nov’21

Integrated steel producer JSPL’s steel sales stood at 0.539 mn t in Nov’21, down 9% on the month owing to issues with rake availability from the Indian Railways. On an annualised basis, steel sales went down 5% against 0.565 mn t in Nov’20.

Exports by the private steel producer accounted for 15% of total sales.
