Steel Authority of India (SAIL) conducted an e-auction for 56,000 t iron ore fines (Fe 60.89%) yesterday from its Rajhara mines, Chhattisgarh. Out of which, only 28,000 t fetched bids at INR 3,370/t (loaded into rakes, including royalty), which is higher by INR 250/t against the previous auction on 16 Oct’20. The remaining quantity will be re-auctioned today, sources reported to SteelMint.
