Steel major SAIL has scheduled an auction for 10,800 t of steel grade pig iron (in 108 units) from Rourkela Steel Plant (RSP) on 27 Apr’22. At the steelmaker’s previous auction on 21 Apr, 4,800 t of material was put under the hammer and buyers booked 4,300 t pig iron at INR 59,800-60,000/t exw. Bid prices increased by around INR 1,850/t.
