SAIL will conduct an auction for 1,500 t (0-3mm, 0-10 mm, and 3-10mm) of silico manganese from its Chandrapur Ferro Alloy Plant in Maharashtra on 2 Dec’21. At the previous auction from the plant on 26 Nov, a similar quantity of material was put under the hammer. However, buyers showed no interest and the auction had closed without a single bid being placed.
