The Municipal Heavy Pollution Weather Response Headquarters has announced that the second-level emergency response to heavy pollution weather will be lifted in Tangshan city from 30 Nov’21. The steel production hub will continue to implement various emission reduction measures in accordance with the ‘Tangshan City November Management and Control Plan’. As per NBS data, Tangshan’s steel output in Jan-Oct’21 reached 84.76 mn t, down 11% y-o-y.
