PSU steelmaker, Steel Authority of India Ltd (SAIL), has scheduled an auction for 4,000 t of steel grade pig iron (in 40 units) from the Rourkela Steel Plant (RSP) in Odisha on 9 Aug’21. At the previous auction on 3 Aug, 4,800 t of pig iron was booked at INR 38,250/t exw, as per SteelMint reports. Bid prices increased by INR 750/t ($4/t) compared to the last auction on 28 Jul.
