SAIL has scheduled an auction for 2,000 t of steel grade pig iron (in 20 units) from Rourkela Steel Plant (RSP) on 21 Sep’21. At the previous auction on 8 Sep, 3,100 t of material (from PCM-I) was booked at a weighted average price of INR 36,500/t exw. PCM-II yard material was booked at INR 37,530/t exw. Both the prices were approved by the company’s management.
