SAIL has scheduled an auction for 18,000 t (60 kg) and 2,500 t (52 kg) of commercial rails from Bhilai Steel Plant (BSP) on 21 Sep’21. At the previous SAIL-BSP rails auction on 8 Sep, only 200 t of 60 kg rails were booked at the base price of INR 41,000/t exw. Incidentally, SAIL-BSP secondary steel auction for 6,900 t of material has been scheduled on the same day.
