SAIL’s Rourkela Steel Plant has rescheduled its crude coal tar auction for 24 Apr’26, offering 7,000 t of material. The previous auction held on 17 April for the same quantity witnessed no participation, as the base price of INR 58,000/t was considered relatively high by market participants, leading to weak buyer interest and the absence of bids.
