Carbon Resources’ ferro silicon project is steadily taking shape at Norbugang, Bhutan and will feature four 51 MVA furnaces with a combined annual capacity of 150,000 t, positioning it as South Asia’s largest ferro silicon facility. Backed by hydropower and a 26 MW waste heat recovery unit, the plant emphasises sustainability and energy efficiency, aiming to become one of the world’s greenest ferro silicon facilities.
