India: SAIL revises list prices of HRC, CRC by INR 500/t ($7/t)

Steel Authority of India (SAIL) has recently revised list prices of HRC and CRC by INR 500/t ($7/t) for end-Jan’22 sales. Effective prices:

• HRC: INR 64,500-65,000/t ($859-865/t)
• CRC: INR 70,500-71,500/t ($939-952/t)
• Prices are on an exy-Mumbai basis, exclusive of 18% GST.

The price hike is due to rising iron ore and coal prices as well as an increase in global flat steel prices.
