Steel Authority of India (SAIL) garnered active participation in its first iron ore fines auction conducted in the state of Jharkhand. 104,000 t iron ore fines (Fe 62%) was booked at INR 4,800-4,850/t (loaded into rakes and excluding royalty, DMF & taxes) from its today’s auction held from Kiriburu mines in Jharkhand, SteelMint learned. Notably, this was its first auction from Jharkhand mines conducted today after receiving the awaited clearances from state govt.
