Steel Authority of India Ltd (SAIL) conducted an auction today for 48,000 t of iron ore tailings (Fe 51.11%) from its Dalli iron ore mines in Chhattisgarh. The due date for the submission of bids was 10 Jul’21. According to latest updates from sources, the tender failed to fetch any response. This may be due to low-grade ore being offered, SteelMint notes.
