Steel Authority of India Ltd (SAIL) had floated tenders for two iron ore auctions yesterday for 500,000 t and 368,000 t of tailings from the Dalli iron ore mines in Chhattisgarh. The material put to auction was of grade ranging from Fe 49.68% to 52.61%. The due date for the submission of bids was 12 Aug’21. According to latest updates, the tenders failed to fetch any response, possibly due to the low-grade iron ore being offered, SteelMint notes.
