Steel Authority of India – a government of India company has floated export tenders for 10,800 MT billet from its Durgapur Steel plant. The cargo will be shipped from Haldia port.
The tender put up for Prime Mild Steel Non-Alloy Concast billets (125*125mm) offered from Durgapur Steel plant has following specifications – C-0.17-0.23%, Mn-0.6-0.9%, S-0.05% max, P-0.05% max and Si – 0.15-0.35%. The length of the billets is 9-12 metres.
The material shipping is scheduled within 30 Jul’18.
Due date for bid submission is 17:00 hrs as per IST on 26 Jun’18.

Indian mills are eyeing export market amid fall in domestic demand due to seasonal slowdown with arrival of monsoons.

1. Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Limited (RINL) has invited a tender for export of 10,000 MT Billets, 20,000 MT Blooms and 16,000 MT Rounds. Due date 25 Jun’18.
2.RINL (Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Limited) invited the tender for export of 11,008 MT Billets, 5,504 MT Blooms and 5,504 MT Wirerods to Nepal. Due date 25 Jun’18
