SAIL’s Durgapur Steel Plant held an auction for 2,100 t of steel grade pig iron on 13 Mar’24. The total quantity was booked at an average price of INR 37,850/t exw. The last auction was conducted for 2,000 t of steel grade pig iron on 2 Feb, with the entire quantity getting booked at an average price of INR 37,900/t exw.
