SAIL Raw Material Division (RMD) has achieved the highest ever iron ore production and despatches in FY ’21. It produced 22.5 mn t iron ore while despatches stood at 22.8 mn t in the last fiscal, surpassing all the previous records. Its Bolani Mines accounted for the highest share with 6.24 mn t iron ore production. The miner booked 3.94 mn t iron ore fines for sales in the merchant market through auction in FY ’21, the company tweeted.
