Govt. owned – Steel Authority of India Ltd (SAIL) conducted an auction for around 1,000 t silico manganese (0-3 & 3-10mm) on 17 Feb ’21 from its Chandrapur Ferro Alloy Plant, Maharashtra. Base price was set by the company for 0-3mm at INR 44,400/t and for 3-10mm at INR 55,650/t. Out of which only 400 t of 3-10mm sized material was booked at INR 55,650/t. Bids increased by INR 1,000/t ($13) against the previous auction on 11th Feb.
