SAIL conducted an auction for 8,550 t (2,850 t x 3 rakes) of basic grade pig iron on 17 Feb ’21 from its Bokaro Steel Plant, Jharkhand. Due to some reason, the company withdrew two rakes from the auction and auctioned only one rake (2,850 t) which received bids at INR 32,800/t exw, sources reported to SteelMint. Bids increased by INR 2,450/t as compared to the previous auction conducted on 10th Feb in which the entire quantity (8,550 t) was booked at INR 30,350/t exw.
