SAIL has scheduled an auction for 7,900 t (60 kg) and 2,000 t (52 kg) full-length commercial rails from Bhilai Steel Plant in Chhattisgarh on 8 Oct’21. At the previous rails auction on 21 Sep, buyers booked the entire quantity of 60 kg rails at INR 39,900/t exw. About 2,500 t of 52 kg rails were booked at INR 46,500/t exw.
