SAIL has scheduled an auction for 4,508 t of iron scrap (Fe 85-90% recovery) from its Bhilai Steel Plant (BSP) on 2 Nov’21. At the previous auction on 22 Oct, buyers booked 1,800 t iron scrap (recovery above 90%) at INR 39,100/t. However, the auction was not approved due to higher price expectation by the company’s management. The approved quantity was 250 t booked at INR 39,150/t.
