SAIL’s Bhilai Steel Plant (BSP) auctioned 73.6 t of non-ferrous scrap from its disposal yards on 8 Apr ’22. Battery scrap comprised a major portion followed by copper cable scrap (30 t), electrical scrap (25 t) and stainless steel scrap (19.02 t). However, the approval of the management is likely to be received in the next couple of days, SteelMint learnt from sources.
