RINL’s Tender for Monthly Purchase of 6,500 MT Silico Manganese

RINL, an Indian Steelmaker, has invited indigenous suppliers for monthly purchase of 6,500 MT Silico manganese during 1-year.

RINL has intended to purchase Silico manganese at a monthly rate of 6,500 MT during 1-year, conforming grade Si-19 Mn-63, as per IS 1470-1990.

Supply of the material should be done in lots. For supply of 1st lot containing 13,000 MT, the bids will be accepted till 6 Feb, 2015 upto 10.30 hrs.

  • Size: 40-100 mm

Tenderer can be a Silico manganese manufacturer or supplier and should provide the detailed documents for participation in the tender such as production capacity and annual production of Silico manganese during 3 preceding years.

Prices must be quoted in tonnes on FoR VSP basis including applicable taxes, duties, levies and freight.

Ferro Silicon Purchase Tender expiring on 9 Feb’15

RINL has also floated a global tender for purchase of 6,000 MT Ferro silicon dated 3 Jan, 2015 on FoB & CFR basis. Last date for submission of offers is 9 Feb, 2015 till 10.30 hrs.

200,000 MT Iron Ore Purchase Tender’s Due Date extends till 28 Jan’15

RINL on 11 Sep, 2014 had floated a global tender for procurement of 200,000 MT Iron ore (100,000 MT Iron ore lump & 100,000 MT fines) from imported and indigenous sources on FoR trimmed and CFR basis with scheduled technical bid to close on 15 Oct, 2014.

The company has been continuously searching for the appropriate bids. On 5 Nov’14, the company had floated an official corrigendum, in which tender’s due date was extended to 5 Dec, 2014. Now, again the company has extended its due date till 28 Jan, 2015 upto 10:30 hrs.

SAIL awards 42,600 MT Silico Manganese Tender to Vandana Group & Prakash Industries 

In December, Steel Authority of India Limited had invited tenders for the purchase of 42,600 MT Silico manganese (60-15), to be supplied in four months (Feb–May, 2015). According to industry sources, Vandana Group and Prakash Industries have been awarded the tender at INR 52,300 /MT FoR. However, no official confirmation could be received from SAIL on this.
