Induction grade rebar prices declined today by INR 100-800/t d-o-d in most of the major supplying regions in India except in Mumbai market, Western India, SteelMint assessment shows. Dull demand for rebar from the last couple of days and continuously falling billet prices pushed manufacturers to reduce their offers. However, in a few markets, sellers kept their offers unchanged and offered trade discounts depending on the buying inquiries. Prices in the near future are expected to remain under pressure, sources shared.
