IF rebar prices fell by INR 200-1,000/t in most markets today. A sharp fall of INR 2,100/t, d-o-d, was witnessed in the Delhi/NCR markets, as per SteelMint assessment. Prices of semi-finished steel rose marginally in the northern and central regions, which supported buying enquiries for rebar. However, demand is still not strong enough in the spot market amidst selling pressure by traders.
