The IF rebar market witnessed weak buying enquiries and lower transactions today. However, prices varied from region to region even as manufacturers reduced offers. In some markets, producers kept prices stable and offered trade discounts. Raw material prices have slipped all on a sudden and the market is weak as buyers are not active in procuring material at current high prices, sources said.
