India: Ramgarh-based mills sell around 3,000 t of billets

Around 3,000 t of billet deals were concluded by Ramgarh, Jharkhand-based producers of which 1,000 t of low-carbon material was sold at INR 41,000-41,300/t exw to purchasers in Mandi Gobindgarh.

• The freight cost to Mandi is INR 2,300-2,500/t via road.
• The remaining 2,000 t of billets were sold at INR 40,500-40,700/t exw to local buyers.
• 1,700 t of sponge iron, PDRI, deals were concluded at INR 27,200-27,300/t exw.
