Ramco Cements’ cement sales volume rose 12% y-o-y to 4.48 mnt in Q1FY27 from 4 mnt, despite demand disruptions from state elections. Capacity utilisation improved to 70% during the quarter from 68% in year ago period. However, EBITDA declined 22% to INR 314 crore, while EBITDA per tonne fell to INR 681 from INR 981, as higher fuel and packaging costs and lower realizations pressured profitability.
